PotterBuilt Construction was founded in 2004 with a mission to be a full-service luxury home remodeling company, based on close working partnerships with all clients to ensure their vision comes to life with superior quality and accountability.
After decades of working on Wall Street, Paul and his wife Margaret identified an opportunity in the construction market, after several frustrating experiences remodeling their own home in New Canaan, CT. Believing that designing your dream home should be an exciting, detail oriented, and transparent endeavor, they embarked on founding a company committed to excellent client experience and increasing long-term home value.

For over 19 years, we have built a team comprised of fully licensed and insured Master Carpenters and trade experts with decades of experience and knowledge. Having ‘seen it all’, the team is able to give expert recommendations, problem solve to meet clients’ goals, and ultimately deliver best in class results. All clients work directly with Paul – from the first meeting to discuss vision and concept, to project status updates, and ultimately project completion to ensure all expectations are met, if not exceeded!

His team of professionals were quick to respond and did impeccable work. The area was meticulously clean upon finishing the project. We have done extensive renovation work with PotterBuilt Construction (PBC). We bought a home that required a major update and we thought it better to do it before moving in. The day after the closing, Paul and his crew were onsite and began the work. We remodeled 3 bathrooms, our master bath, partial kitchen, new mudroom, custom book cases and cabinets, re-surfaced all the hardwood floors, added crown molding to several rooms and painted the entire house. His guys worked tirelessly 7am-5pm everyday (and some weekends) to get our family in before the school year start!ed! They were great to work with and we highly recommend them.
